Summer Fun - PanPastel Challenge

I had so much fun creating this project!

All the PanPastel colours I used are listed below the picture of my project over on the PanPastel Challenge Page, you can also take a look at the fabulous projects by my Design Teamies while you're there.

We've had so much sunshine lately that I felt really inspired by "Summer Fun".  Have a go, we have a lovely mask and PanPastel for the randomly chosen winner.

Thanks for looking xx

Inspiration by Tim - PanPastels

PanPastels work brilliantly with embossing folders.  I made this topper to put on a card but the more I look at it I realise it would have made a great notebook cover.  The aim was to make it look as though it's been torn from a notebook.

The colours I used were: orange, Phthalo Green Shade and Magenta Shade - of course when these are blended together you get a rainbow of colours.

Why not join our Challenge, after all we have loads of Timmy stash.

You can enter HERE.

Well done to the winners of the Roses Are a Girls Best Friend Challenge.

This is the card I made for my husbands very special birthday.  The main stamps are from the marvellous company Visible Image.

I would like to enter this into the Visible Image Challenge Blog.

Inspired by Tim Holtz - PanPastels

I have some amazingly exciting news to share with you this morning.  Nikky Hall and the fabulous PanPastel DT have invited me to join them on their Team.  I couldn't be more pleased and delighted to be a part of such a talented group and look forward to working with them all.

So on to the new Challenge starting today over on the PanPastel Challenge Blog - Inspired by Tim Holtz.  Now I can't think of a single crafty friend who hasn't been inspired by Tim, so you have no excuse for not joining in!  We have a PanPastel and a lovely mask for the winner and you can enter HERE.

This is my Tim Holtz offering for today and I hope you like it, I'm wanting to show that you can get that lovely blended background without using ink but by using PanPastels instead.  I even coloured my seam binding with matching PanPastels.

The colours I used along with stencils and stamps were:

Permanent Red, Phthalo Black Shade (through one of the masks), Yellow Ochre, Neutral Grey Extra Dark and Burnt Sienna Shade (around the edges of the tag and to colour the ticket).

PanPastel - Roses are a Girls Best Friend Inspiration

This is my inspiration piece for the Roses are a Girls Best Friend Challenge over on the PanPastel Challenge blog.  Yes I've been lucky enough to have been given another chance as a Guest Designer!

You still have time to enter - pop over HERE to take a look at the DT inspiration and where you can add your project.

At first glance my piece may not looked finished, in fact, I was going to add a With Love sentiment and make it into a card but I like it so much I'm going to frame it and hang it on the wall!

I must apologise for the photos as they look different colours - the weather and light kept changing which seems to have played havoc with the colours.

Below are pictures I took as I worked which shows how I came to the finished piece.

This is my final week as PanPastel Guest Designer and I would like to thank Nikky Hall and the Design Team for making me feel so at home.  I've thoroughly enjoyed it.

I used Martha Stewart Botanical Silk screen kit.

I masked off the rose to colour the background and add the Raindrop stamp from Designs by Ryn.

Hope you like the finished piece as much as I do. I love to see your comments and appreciate each and everyone.

Congratulations to the winner of the June Challenge and to the Top 5.

My inspiration for this months Challenge is a tag and rather than getting you to read loads of my step by step guide I thought it would make a change to give you a photo tutorial.  Hope you like it, please leave me a comment I love your feedback,

This is how it looked when finished.

And the following shows how I arrived there.
